Hi. I use Internet Explorer 11 more than I use the Edge browser. I checked at Adobe to see if I had the latest Flash Player version at Adobe. It's showing that I have version 21.0.0.182 - Active X installed. I looked on the chart to see if that was correct. It's showing that version 21.0.0.182 is the latest version for Edge browser and it's embedded.

For Internet Explorer - Active X, it shows that the latest version should be 21.0.0.197.

So my question is since Internet Explorer 11 is a completely different browser from Edge, why can't I upgrade version 21.0.0.197? I also found an article that said to check the add-ons to see if Flash was enabled. The article said to check for Shockwave Flash and make sure it was enabled. I did and Shockwave Flash is enabled. But Shockwave Flash isn't the same as Adobe Flash Player. I do have the latest Adobe Shockwave version installed, and I'm able to update that whenever it's needed.

So, if this version I have ( 21.0.0.182 ) is embedded in the Edge Browser, how does this also work with Internet Explorer 11 since it's a different browser? You also can't take the latest update for Internet Explorer - Active X which is 21.0.0.197 because you'll get a message that says Windows 10 already has Adobe Flash.
