Now the bad news. Many of these were made with 12 inch or 15inch barrels. Under US law, these are Class III weapons, just likea belt fed machinegun. IF the barrels are less than 18 inches inlength, they must have been registered with the Federal BATFE as anAOW (Any Other Weapon). If they have not been registered already,they cannot be. Penalty for possession of an unregistered AOW is 10years in prison.

So- registered (and yes, there will be registration paperwork) avaluable firearm.

2. As I recall, the Marbles was not a rifle. It was a pistol with a detachable shoulder stock. It came in 410, 22 and (I think) 32/20. So if it is rifled, and does not have the shoulder stock attached to it, it is a pistol, and a fifteen inch barrel is fine.
